The Asia-Pacific Implant Centre (APIC) is dedicated to the advancement of Oral Implantology in the Asia-Pacific region. It provides practising clinicians with opportunities for professional education and training in this field. APIC maintains an open policy to all systems and schools of thoughts in Oral Implantology in the organization of activities and provision of services.

APIC offers Residence programs for clinical training in Oral Implantology featuring the amalgamation of knowledge, research and clinical practice that makes a holistic implant clinician. Residents are provided with the opportunities to learn the state-of-the-art clinical methods and skills in both oral implant surgery and prosthetics through a highly structured cascade of training that emphasizes the actual treatment of patients.

The Modular Residence allows the residents to choose their combinations of training modules to suit their needs and expectations. The Diploma Residence prepares the residents for qualifying for diplomas in Oral Implantology offered by educational institutions and professional organizations.The Full APIC Residence trains the residents to become a competent oral implant clinician.

• APIC maintains a system of mentorship for members requiring supervision in their clinical work on Oral Implantology. APIC will provide a list of instructors registered with APIC to members on demand.

• It is the responsibility of clinical users to contact and make arrangements with their instructors of choice if clinical supervision is required in accordance with the requirements set by APIC.

APIC is operated by a professional team of clinical staff consisting of the director, co-director, senior residents and residents, supportive clinical staff and administrators.
